: Starting At Student :
Should you decide to start at student, which is great, then make sure you place this fact in the post when you post your bio. There is nothing wrong with starting at Student and working your way up. In my opinion, it gives a character reason and helps develop them. Your character will then go to the Academy. There you will learn kidou and get a nameless zanpakuto. Until this is finished, your character will only be able to post outside of the Seireitei Court. Once they graduate, the character will be able to post inside the court. Graduation is determined by how well you post. It could take a few days or a few weeks depending on your activity and the length of your posts. [[I'm currently not allowing to start this low until I fully establish how I want to go about this.]]
: Seats :
In order to get a seat, you have to first be in a division. Once you have that handled, you can then apply for a seat that you would like within your division. When you apply for a seat, you will be give a task to complete by your Captain. These tasks must be completed fully, well written and it must make sense. You will be judged upon the task you receive and you will be granted a seat by the Captain's decision. If you don't get the seat you want, too bad. Your posts weren't decent enough.
: Achieving Shikai :
In order to achieve Shikai, one must first reach the rank of Seated and then they are allowed to start training for shikai. The biggest part of learning shikai is you have to discover the name of your zanpakuto and how to release it. In order to do that, one must spend a lot of time in their inner world and form a close relationship with their zanpakuto. The limits for moves for shikai's is four. You can have less, but not more.
: Achieving Bankai :
In order to achieve bankai, you must first be of vice captain rank and you must have the most moves your shikai will ever have (should it be two or five). Pretty much, in order to further and achieve bankai, you must have your shikai mastered. Bankai is not just some simple test and then you're done. To obtain bankai is complicated and requires a strong bond with the spirit of the zanpakuto. A strong bond. Materializing the spirit is not easy. Bankai is legendary stuff, guys, so make it seem uber hard, okay? After you have materialized the spirit, the real fun begins. You have to do some sort of challenge against the spirit (usually fight them just like when Ichigo fought Zangetsu and having to find the right sword at the same time in order to defeat him) and in order to obtain bankai, you must defeat them. Your challenge CANNOT be the same damn thing that Ichigo had, alright? So make sure it is different or it will not get accepted. This could take days, so make it seem like that. While a shikai can have a max of four moves, bankai can have a max of five moves and bankai usually fixes some sort of problem that is wrong with the shikai (ie distance, effect on user, size, etc), so keep this in mind when making the bankai. You must be a captain level in order to master bankai and please remember. It normally takes 10 years in order to master bankai.
: Achieving New Kidou Moves :
Your character is allowed to start with all kidou moves that are level 20 and below and are allowed to start with one kidou move that is below 40. All other moves must be trained in order to achieve. Remember, though, if your character isn't the level that is required for that particular level of kidou, then they cannot successfully use it. You can train for it and half it, but you won't be able to successfully use it until you have reached the level required. All minimum posts requirements stay the same, even if you are learning the kidou in school.
: Becoming a Vizard :
Since I know there are people who wish to start out as a vizard, I decided to give them a break considering all of the things they must know. In order to be a vizard, you must already know bankai. You don't have to know any skills or have it mastered, you just have to achieve it. So, instead of making you go through the training to become a Vice and then to achieve bankai and finally then to master your inner hollow, I thought of another way for you to do it with less work. When you create your vizard, your sample post MUST be where your character achieves bankai. Alright, now, to become a vizard. After you achieve bankai and your bio is accepted, you have to go train to master your inner hollow. You have to do this or the hollow inside is going to keep bugging you and bugging you until it takes over... And I will be watching you... Anyway, 500 words to defeat inner hollow and then you are a vizard and you start out (since I am so nice) with being able to hold the mask for 20 seconds, which 1 post. Sound good? Good.
: Hollow Moves For Vizards :
Since vizards are quite hollow-like when they wear the mask and Shinji was seen in the anime using cero against Grimmjow, vizards are going to be able to learn some hollow moves. Notice, I said some. There is a total of nine hollow/arrancar abilities that a vizard can use. Instead of putting them up on the ranking chart and taking up room, they are split up into the levels below according to the arrancar/hollow stuff. Now, out of the nine, you are only allowed to have four. The reason for this is because I don't allow arrancars to learn kidou, so keeping it fair, vizard can't learn them all, or at least can't have knowledge of them all. You can choose any of the nine, but you can only have four and cero is a MUST. Also, Cero Special Ability does NOT count as one of the nine. It is simply a modification of the cero and that is how your cero will be for then on. Remember. These abilities can only be used when the MASK IS ON. You CANNOT switch out the moves. So, when you reach four, that is your four and you don't get any more and you are not allowed to trade.
: Retired & Rogue Shinigami :
Until recently, I have never really had to deal with retired shinigami and thus never fully defined how they are to be handled. Now I am defining how they are to be handled and that they are NOT the same as rogue shinigami.
Rogue shinigami are shinigami who escaped from Soul Society and are currently residing in the real world. These shinigami are not bound by the laws of Central 46 an are able to continue about their lives and grow in power as they seem fit. Rogue shinigami can be former seated members, former vices and former captains (not zero division members unless given special permission from me). These positions cannot collide with those who are currently taken, so it may be wise to research before you make one of such status. I can help you as well. Just because you want your character to be a former captain, though, don't expect it to just happen. I do have the right to deny it because we honestly don't need a bunch of former captains wandering the real world.
Retired shinigami are shinigami who still reside Soul Society or the court and simply no longer work for the Gotei 13. They say in the manga that there is no retirement for captains due to how threatening a captain who is retired can be. Since I'm not mean enough to throw all former captains in the maggot's nest, they will instead have most of their powers sealed. Technically, they should have all of their powers sealed, but I will be nice and allow them to at least have the same norms as everyone else. Bankai is iffy, so that is something you're just going to ask me about. Obviously a former captain is going to have a better chance of getting bankai back after it is sealed than a former vice. Please keep in mind, a retired shinigami with powers is considered a threat to the Gotei 13 if they still reside in the Gotei 13. Why? They have access to information about Soul Society that those in the real world do no. Meaning, unless they were extremely trustworthy, Central 46 is going to keep a close eye on them. After what Aizen did, it may be even closer.
